    SoundGirls mission is to inspire and empower the next generation of women in audio. SoundGirls Organisation creates a supportive community for women in audio and music production, providing the tools, knowledge, and support to further their careers.

  • APRA AMCOS SongHubs

    APRA AMCOS organises various SongHubs around the world each year. The short intensive songwriting camps bring together selected APRA AMCOS members and renowned international songwriters and producers to create new hits. There are opportunities for published and unpublished songwriters.

    The Fortitude Music Hall is the largest ballroom/theatre styled venue in Australia, with a 3,000 person standing capacity and a 1,100 seated capacity.   • The Zoo

    The Zoo is located on the first floor of the Shannon’s building on Ann Street, in the heart of Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley.

    Independently owned, operated, and booked by females for the past 29 years, The Zoo is one of Brisbane’s oldest and most beloved live music venues. The Zoo will next year celebrate 30 years of hosting some of the world's most famous acts, including The Pixies, The Black Keys, Paul Kelly, Lorde, Nick Cave and the Dirty Three, Ben Harper, Powderfinger, Silverchair, Violent Soho and Mogwai (to name a few).

  • Sonic Sherpa

    Sonic Sherpa is an Australian record store that’s been brightening the Brisbane suburb of Stones Corner since 2015 (although the team has over a decade’s shared music retail experience from owning/running Skinnys in the Brisbane CBD back in the day).

    They have a large and eclectic range of new and pre-loved vinyl on hand, as well as stocking turntables, CDs, books, DVDs and music-related t-shirts and paraphernalia. Sonic Sherpa also curates ranges for the region’s larger music festivals such as Splendour In The Grass, Falls Festival (Byron Bay), CMC Rocks, Gympie Muster, Tamworth Country Music Festival and many more such gatherings.
