Hello Airlockers! The team just wanted to say a massive thank you to all of the awesome and creative people coming through Airlock Studios this year! It has been a difficult journey for so many of us... but we will prevail.

The songs Jackson had written, presented them with an opportunity to explore something very different to their other EP's. After months of the pair sending songs back and forth, the record began to take shape. "We tend to formulate a set of parameters when approaching the production process of a new work - for this material it was simple: largely acoustic, ambiguous and full of gentle sounds." explained Jackson.
'Corpse's Lament' - Lewin Grimley and The Broken Strings
The groups second single,'Corpses Lament' (out now on streaming services), was written in an attempt to infuse the story telling genius of Nick Cave and Tim Burton, into a retelling of the classic Greek tale of Orpheus. During the composition process, 'Corpses Lament' evolved from four random chords on a beat up acoustic, to a waltz on Piano (Courtesy of Mr Wise), to a full blown epic of Love, Death and Reincarnation incorporating a five piece band and captured by Steve Kempnich and produced by Powderfinger & The Church's guitarist, Ian Haug at Airlock Studios.
The Predators had a wild send off to the year with the Christmas Party at The Outpost Bar. Special thanks to Slowrip and Flamingo Blonde for supporting us.
